GENERAL – APPLICABLE TO ALL DRAWS

1. The Promotion is open to any eligible patron actively playing on an EBT (“machines”) at a participating Galaxy Bingo site at the specified times per site for the random qualifying selection;
2. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in The Promotion;
3. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in The Promotion, whether in person or by representing another patron.
4. The Promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
5. Participants must be in possession of a valid form of identification or have their identity verified by valid alternate means to be eligible for any of the prizes.
6. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration, unless otherwise advertised.
7. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s), unless otherwise advertised.
8. All prize winners must sign to acknowledge receipt of prizes.
9. Participants must register to decline to be present at draws in person. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant to exercise this rule. Positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by relevant parties when completing this process.
10. Winners may elect a proxy to represent themselves at any of the draws during The Promotion, subject to:
    • The nominated proxy is an eligible person in terms of points 1, 2 and 3 of these General Rules eg. not under 18, self-excluded, etc.
    • A proxy form will be available at the Rewards Desk or Cash Desk and must be completed by both the winner and proxy before the respective draw at which the proxy will represent the winner.
    • Prizes will not be handed to the proxy.  If the prize winner has nominated a proxy to represent themselves at a draw, steps will be taken to contact the prize winner to collect/claim the prize at the participating bingo where the prize was won within 15 business days from the draw.
    • A proxy form will only be valid for the respective draw for which it was completed. A proxy form, therefore, can only represent a winner for one draw date, and cannot represent a winner for multiple draw dates or for the duration of a promotion.
11. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.  Any complaints arising at the event will be investigated and may be forwarded to the relevant authority in the event of the matter not being resolved by Management.
12. Any person transgressing these rules will be disqualified.
13. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional competitional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
14. By entering The Promotion, you agree:
    • that Galaxy Bingo may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the promotion,
    • to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
15. Every participant in The Promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation including consenting to their full names being announced on draw days.
16. Copies of these rules are available at the Rewards Desk or Cash Desk upon request and at the website www.bingo.co.za.

• QUALIFYING SELECTIONS – WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS

1. Three (3) qualifying entries will be selected every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the specified times per site for the duration of the promotion:

• May:  13th – 15th, 20th – 22nd and 27th – 29th
• June:  3rd – 5th, 10th – 12th, 17th – 19th and 24th – 26th
• July:  1st – 3rd, 8th – 10th, 15th – 17th, 22nd – 24th and 29th – 31st
• August:  5th – 7th and 12th – 14th

1. Machine numbers will be randomly selected by way of an electronic spinning wheel mechanism – wheelofnames.com
2. When the selected machine number is announced by the draw announcer, the patron actively playing at that machine must present themselves at the draw area within 90 seconds. Should the patron selected not present themselves within 90 seconds and/or have valid form of identification, a re-draw will take place.
3. If the EBT is not being played or the patron is not actively playing on the selected EBT or the patron is not the registered owner of the player card used, a redraw will take place.
4. The selected participants or “Qualifiers” will be issued with a manual entry ticket.  Two entry boxes will be displayed on site and the Qualifiers must place their entry ticket into either the afternoon or evening Saturday Finalist draw bin of their choice to qualify for the Saturday Finalist draws.  A ticket can only be entered into one of the entry bins.
5. In the event that there are no entry tickets, not enough entry tickets or the 3 winners could not be selected for the afternoon draw(s), the relevant number of entries not drawn that afternoon will then be carried forward to that evening’s draw after the first evening draw as per the draw rules for the evening draws, where the afternoon draw(s) carried forward will then receive the prize value for the afternoon draw as specified per site eg. if 2 entries could not be drawn in the afternoon draw:  the first evening draws will take place as per the draw rules, and after the first evening winners have been announced, the 2 afternoon entries carried forward will then be drawn and the winners for these draws will receive the relevant prize money per site for the afternoon draw.  In the unlikely event that there are no not enough qualifying draws for any site, the relevant amount of draws and prizes will be carried forward to the next draw day.
6. There is no limit on the number of qualifying entries per patron and a patron who has won more than one entry can enter either Saturday Finalist draws ie. afternoon or evening, per entry ticket
7. Qualifying tickets entered into the draw bin(s) will be valid for the duration of The Promotion.
8. Qualifying patrons must sign to acknowledge receipt of the ticket into the Saturday Finalist draws
9. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
10. The full offer to participate will be advertised through the various advertising mediums.
11. The General Rules listed above also apply to these draws.

• Finalist Draws – Saturdays

1. Draws will take place every Saturday at the specified times per participating Galaxy Bingo, for the duration of The Promotion:

• May:  16th, 23rd and 30th
• June:  6th, 13th, 20th and 27th
• July:  4th, 11th, 18th and 25th
• August: 1st, 8th and 15th

1. Participants qualify for the Saturday Finalist draws by entering their entry tickets issued from the Qualifying Selections into either the afternoon or evening entry bin, where applicable, which will be displayed at the participating Galaxy Bingo site.
2. Participants or their elected proxy must be present at the draw at the specified times per site or forfeit the prize and entry into the Finale.
3. Participants must place their entry ticket(s) into the respective entry bin(s) displayed on site 15 minutes before the specified draw times per site. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through mediums used within the bingo site
4. Prize Winners will be selected by way of random manual draws at the specified times per site.
5. Winners will be announced by the draw announcer and invited to the draw area.
6. Should the prize winner or nominated Proxy not present themselves within 90 seconds and/or have a valid form of identification, the prize will be forfeited and a re-draw will take place.  The entry ticket must then be set aside and will be re-entered into the same entry bin following that day’s draws, and will again be eligible for future Saturday Finalist draws
7. Each of the winners selected at the Saturday Finalist draws will receive the specified prize per site as well as one limited entry into the Finale draw.
8. Winning entry tickets must not be re-entered into any  Finalist entry bins and will not be eligible for further re-entry for the duration of The Promotion and must be retained for verification purposes
9. Prizes will be issued accordingly, unless, if applicable, the winner requests that the prize be paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), in which case the prize will be paid within 7 working days subject to all the necessary documentation to do so being received from the winner
10. There is no limit on the number of Finale Draw entries per patron
11. Prizes must be collected at the participating Galaxy Bingo site and signed for to acknowledge receipt (not their representative).
12. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
13. The full offer to participate will be advertised through the various advertising mediums.
14. The General Rules listed above also apply to these draws.

• Finale Draw – SATURDAY, 15 AUGUST 2026

1. Participants qualify for the Finale Draw on Saturday, 15 August 2026 by winning entry tickets at the Saturday Finalist draws at the respective participating Galaxy Bingo sites.
2. The Finale draw is an attendance draw and all Participants or their appointed proxy are required to be present at the draw, to be eligible for a prize: Prizes must be collected in person and signed for to acknowledge receipt thereof.  A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves and/or have a valid form of identification within 90 seconds.
3. Five (5) entries will be selected by way of random manual draws at the specified times per site.  The names will be announced by the draw announcer and invited to the draw area.
4. Should the prize winner or nominated proxies not present themselves within 90 seconds the prize will be forfeited and a re-draw will take place.
5. Only one (1) entrant can qualify for the Finale Draw ie. if an entrant is drawn more than once, the person can only have one entry for the Finale
6. Once the five (5) entrants have been selected, in the order in which their names were drawn, each will then select one of the 5 boxes to be displayed on site
7. The entrant that correctly selects the box to unlock the main prize will win that main prize as specified per site.
8. The remaining entrants that selected a box that did not unlock the main prize will each win the consolation prizes as specified per site
9. Winning entry tickets must not be re-entered into any entry bins and will not be eligible for further re-entry for the Finale Draw and will be retained for verification purposes.
10. Any Finale cash prizes will be paid via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) within 7 working days subject to all valid documentation being submitted to Galaxy Bingo in order to do so.
11. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
12. Draw dates and times will be advertised through the relevant advertising mediums used for The Promotion.
