Promotional Rules – SLOT Draws

1. Any person under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is
self-excluded, or who falls into a category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited
from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, partners, employees, agents,
or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled
by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business
partners or immediate family members.
3. This promotional competition is open to all Galaxy Bingo patrons meeting eligibility
requirements.
4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration.
5. The promotion is open to any eligible patron actively playing on the slot machine at
Galaxy Bingo.
6. All machines are labelled, and the corresponding machine number will be included in the
electronic spinning wheel mechanism.
7. Machine numbers will be drawn via the electronic spinning wheel mechanism found at
wheelofnames.com.
8. Machine draws will be held at 18:00, 18:30, 19:00, 19:30, 20:00 and 20:30 every
Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the promotional period.
9. Once the machine number is electronically or manually selected, the host/manager will
walk to the selected machine to confirm whether there is an active player.
10. In the event that there is no active player, a redraw will take place immediately.
11. If there is a patron actively playing, the machine number will be announced and the
patron will be invited to the promotional area where a total of 6 GALAXY boxes will be
on display.
12. The patron will be offered R1,000 cash upfront. If accepted, the prize is awarded
immediately and the promotion concludes.
13. If offer is declined, the patron randomly selects a letter (G/A/L/A/X/Y) displayed on the
boxes; the corresponding box is allocated and opened to reveal contents (Freeplay
and/or Takealot vouchers).
14. Multiplier draws: On designated Happy Hour multiplier draws (first and last Thursday of
each month, 18:00 and 19:00 draws only), special boxes containing cash only are used.
15. Winners who refuse the R1,000 offer may select and open their box to reveal the cash
amount, then select one of three multiplier cards (x2, x3, or x5).
16. Example: R1,200 cash x3 = R3,600 cash. Once selected, multiplier cards are removed and
not replaced during that session.
17. Boxes already selected during the promotional day will be removed from the display
once selected (No new boxes will be added on draw day).
18. Saturday Social Bonus: If the winner provides proof that they follow Galaxy Bingo on
Facebook and/or Instagram (show proof at time of win via their mobile device), they
receive an additional bonus: R250 for following one platform, or R500 for following both
platforms, in cash. Winners may follow during the verification process.
19. The social media bonus will be applicable for all the draws on Saturday.
20. Prize winners must be in possession of a South African ID, South African Driver's License,
Passport, or other official form of identification as approved by management.
21. All prizes must be signed for upon receipt.
22. Any patron actively playing on a machine is automatically entered into the draw unless
they have opted out.

23. Patrons may opt out of the draws at the cash desk prior to playing on the machines.
24. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entered
into.
25. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
26. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw,
irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole
discretion of Management.
27. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted
the rules by virtue of their participation.
28. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be
found to be unenforceable by operation of law, such clause or part thereof will be
severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
