Money Shower Promotional Rules
1. The Money Shower promotion (“promotional competition”) will run from 3 September 2026 to 31 October 2026
(“the promotional period”) and is valid only at Galaxy Bingo Emalahleni (“Galaxy Bingo”)
2. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotional competition.
3. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the
category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotional competition,
whether in person or by representing another patron.
4. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees,
agents or consultants of, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by, the
company or its marketing service providers, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate
family members of any such persons.
5. This promotional competition is open to all eligible customers with a valid form of identification (South African
ID, Driver’s Licence, Passport or other approved ID).
6. Participants must be actively playing on any EBT or LPM (“machine”) at the time of the draw.
7. Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw via wheelofnames.com.
8. All active machine numbers will be loaded onto the spinning wheel at the time of each draw.
9. The promotional competition draw times are 14h00, 15h00, 18h00 and 19h00 every Thursday, Friday and
Saturday. At each draw time, three winners are selected sequentially.
10. Once a machine number is selected, the host will walk to the machine to confirm an active player. If no active
player is found, a redraw will take place immediately.
11. All 3 winners during a time slot will be selected before entering the money shower in the same order as they
were selected during the machine draws.
12. If a winner is physically unable to go inside the money shower, he/she may nominate someone to go in on
their behalf, however the nominee will not be awarded the prize. The total prize will be paid directly to the
winner.
13. Any such agreement is strictly between the winner and the nominee and will in no way involve Galaxy Bingo,
its staff and/or management.
14. The winner enters the Money Shower booth, which will be activated for 90 seconds to allow the winner to
catch the notes, and deposit them into the deposit box. Only notes deposited into the deposit box are counted
and paid. Participants may not pick notes up from the floor with their hands; they may kick notes up if needed
(some notes stick to the floor).
15. Where a winner is found contravening any promotional rules whilst inside the money shower, the money
shower will be stopped, the winner will be reminded of the rules and will get another chance to retake their 90
seconds. Management reserves the right to disqualify any winner that continues to contravene the
promotional rules.
16. Management will consolidate the total notes deposited into the box by the winner and confirm the total amount
of cash and/or FreePlay won.
17. Winners who fail to catch a single note within the allocated time, will be issued with a consolation prize of
R200 in FreePlay.
18. The full R150,000 face-value note stock is loaded into the machine from day 1 and remains in play; only
deposit-box notes are removed.
19. The winning value in cash or free play will be loaded at cash desk onto the winner’s player card.
20. Notes are fake/designed; the winner is paid the cash or Free Play equivalent of deposit-box notes on the day.
21. The total prize pool hard cap for the promotional competition is R150,000, consisting of cash and FreePlay
values. Once this cap has been reached, the promotional period will be deemed to have ended and no further
prizes will be paid..
GENERAL
1. Prize winners who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of a
positive and acceptable form of identification.
2. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for any other item or for cash unless otherwise
advertised. Prize winners must sign to acknowledge receipt of their prize at the time of winning.
3. The prize winner must claim the prize at Galaxy Bingo Emalahleni within 15 days of the draw.

4. All decisions made by Galaxy Bingo management are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be
entered into.
5. Any person found to be transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
6. In the event of a technical failure or damage to any device used for this promotional competition, irrespective
of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used at the sole discretion of management.
7. Every participant in this promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these
rules by virtue of their participation.
8. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be
unenforceable by operation of law, such clause or part thereof will be severed and the remaining clauses shall
remain in full force and effect.
